Malta revealed by Belair Property

Belair Property has launched a video aimed at showcasing spectacular vistas that can be enjoyed in Malta and Gozo. The video includes scenes ranging from St Paul’s Islands, the Valletta breakwater and Mġarr Harbour in Gozo at dawn, crowded Valletta streets and cafes at midday, to Marsamxett at dusk.

Aimed as a homage to the Maltese islands experience, the video portrays the charm and stunning beauty of the country, but aims to go a step further than that.

Visibly enthused by the finished product, Ian Casolani from Belair Property speaks animatedly and with passion. "At BelairProperty we aim to go further than just selling people a property. We don't just hand people the keys and that's it. For a start, we're selling Malta, and Malta is far more than what meets the eye. In my view, Malta is a multi-layered place, unmatched anywhere else in the Mediterranean. Islands are easy to come by in this sea of ours, but none can offer the safety, stability, business opportunities, cosmopolitan centres, quiet town centres, seaside panoramas and everything else that our tiny set of islands has given us."

Shot over a number of weeks in around 40 different locations all across the Maltese Islands, the video was created by the team at Hangar. Instead of opting for standard shots of the locations, the aim was to do things differently so a video composed of hyper-lapses was created, in which a large number of photos are shot over time and then stitched together so as to create powerful moving images. The music accompanying the video was also composed especially for the project.

Belair Property's Managing Director Ian Casolani states that a considerable list of locations was compiled then tapered down to the most stunning and visually representative of the project. "We didn't want just another run of the mill, sand, sea, sun and temples image of Malta. That's been done before, and Malta offers so much more. That’s exactly what we want to open people’s eyes to; that Malta offers more. I’m absolutely certain that this video will achieve that and that people will marvel at these islands’ natural and architectural beauty.”
