Baħar iċ-Ċagħaq is a seaside village sitauted halfway between the St Julian's and St Paul's Bay resorts.The name literally means "sea of pebbles"and reflects the type of rocky shoreline in the area. The locality has a small village core centred around a modern church as well as an area renowned as a villa and bungalow area. One of the most significant landmarks in the area is the Qalet Marku Tower, built in 1658 as part of a line of watch towers along the north-eastern coast of Malta. One the modern attractions to the area is the water-themed fun park which inlcudes water slides, pools and a dolphinarium.
